Whether we like it or not, hazards are present in all workplaces, and failure to address them can lead to injuries, loss of productivity and increased business costs. As such, a crucial part of any occupational health and safety program involves the successful identification and evaluation of hazards and the level of risk they present. Next World’s VR Hazard Identification training is designed from the ground up to vastly improve the awareness of employees, and enable them to access whether a situation is dangerous. Participants will study both the Hierarchy of Control and Risk Assessment Matrix, and understand how to conduct a full risk assessment as they explore an immersive job site containing common workplace hazards.
Our VR Learning Experiences are built from the ground up to offer the most immersive training environment possible. Because of this deep user immersion, VR training has been proven to result in much higher retention rates – up to 80% one year after training, compared to just 20% from traditional training methods.
Each of our Learning Experiences has a unique gamification system in place, allowing us to engage the user in the training requirements. We use a combination of points and quizzes to test and understand any shortfalls in the users’ knowledge. This method of gamification learning achieves on average assessment scores of 93%.
